Peru may well be GMT-5, but it is Daylight Saving in UK, but winter in Peru - so time difference is -6 hours.

Peru is GMT - 5 and does not operate daylight saving time.

Therefore the time difference changes over the course of the year.

During British summer time it is 6 hours. During winter it will be 5.
