Yes, what is the purpose of it all? I mean, I'm trying to get to level 3 so I can answer more questions and ask some without feeling like I'll never make it to a comfortable level... Other than that I think it's just their way of wasting time... oh, and thanks for the 2 points! j/k, sort of... :)

Yes, I answered your other two similar questions. If you amass a huge points score, does that not mean that you have almost certainly, in the main, provided very brief answers. Consequently, high points score = poor quality answers. So, I would have thought that ridiculously high point scores are nothing to be proud of, nor something to work toward.

That is really annoying. You can at least answer the question instead of saying "oh yeah, I got 2 points."

Dude, do you realize that like a million people are going to answer this question "Thanks for the two points"?

And yes, it's annoying. But kind of cute too, in a ridiculous and pathetic sort of way.

Yea, I saw some of that and found it annoying. Whether the question is silly or serious the person just may be curious about the answers.

No! I take it sportively!

Some silly questions need no replies! In that case, for spending our precious time on them, we need some compensation.

Two points help us to get level with the situation!

Those who answer like that also get two points not at Questioner's COST!

Why Grudge?

There are so many kinds of questions here--even some specifically asking for opinions--that it's dead easy to get your two points "honestly". I don't see why someone would do that, except just to be a jackass.

yes I hate those you ask a question and some person just says
Thanks for two points but they can be reported as not really participating in yahoo answers.
