Really enjoyed reading these answers. The sincerity was inspiring. So many involved the children and partners, very beautiful.

I've had so much joy in the past few years it is hard to say only one thing. I've had 3 grandchildren, met so many different dogs and cats, saw my children overcome some personal obstacles, shared with personal friends and aquaintances their many triumphs and even some of their sorrows is worth mentioning in this category.

I am going to personally respond to a couple of your answers but I wish to thank everyone for sharing, doesn't it just help to keep everything in perspective? Everyones life has the same happiness, pain, joy and sorrow. To live life to its fullest and to truly appreciate the good, one must experience the bad. Thank you all!!!!

To "Catherine N" well put. You've had some major stressors, as I have in past few years, and I have often thought "oh, but for the chance to be bored...." Thanks

Ironically, it was the other day at the funeral of a dear friend. His wife was telling about some silly tricks he used to play on her. There was a childlike look of delight on her face.

Probably when my children were little, like babies or aged 2. Now they are teens, and while they are good kids, teens are trying. I've also had a lot of stress in the past 6 years with a divorce and a crappy ex who makes my life miserable still. I have a wonderful fiancee now, but life just seems tough and not all that fun with money troubles and stuff like that. I'm waiting and hoping for the day when life just becomes kind of boring again, and the huge stresses are gone..will that ever happen? Life feels like a huge turmoil for me these past years. I miss my kids as babies:-(

Actually, this year has been terrible for me, and I honestly can say nothing good has happened to me in a long time. I have been out of a job, I have no income, I got a damn DUI, my ex-husband doesn't pay child support and I have an in mature boyfriend who acts like an idiot when he gets drunk.. Oh but by far, the worse thing is that my teenage daughter is making me insane....she went to stay with her stupid boyfriend, who is going to ruin her life.... well lets just say that I am not having a good year at all...

music is very moving to me. there are certain songs that make me stop everything im doing - even thinking. a lot of modest mouse songs, and definitely the district sleeps alone tonight by the postal service. i think anyone can get joy through music, assuming their not deaf (although beethoven...) some music doesnt give me this feeling, but is still amazing - the clash for example. different types of music are there for different reasons, some i just like to rock out to. if you can connect with the soul of the artist, it brings you "real joy". this could go for visual art too. for starters, check out radiohead.

I find happiness in every day. But real joy was two weekends ago... I went to my best friend's wedding and everyone was so happy, you could just feel it in the room. I danced so much, and not the skanky kind of booty dancing. I danced the free, jumping around, arms in the air, laughing so hard, hugging everyone, swinging your hair around, bare foot, crazy little kid kind of dance. Wow, good question. I was having a not-so-good day and now I'm sitting here smiling just thinking about it. :)

Spending last weekend with my best friends. Their real blessings. And waking up this morning. Life is a real joy. No matter what happens through the day.

PLEASE READ
I gave birth 2 miracle naturally instead of undergoing an operation, as d doctor hd told me I wld. I had a case of placenter previa. If d placenter comes before d baby, d baby would die; and the placenter was positioned 2 come 1st. And if it brks, as it always does, I would die.
The nurses on duty didnt check their record ;and I didnt remind them. I had no money 4 d operation. But I prayed and just believed.
It was a real Miracle. It was JOY.
