How well do you think the evacuation plan the Harper Government has put together to get Canadians out of Lebanon is? There has been critizing from concerned citizens in Canada about getting there loved ones back home.
The Embassy has been accused of being to slow and disorganized.

It stinks. Our government is too busy concentrating on wars in other countries and sucking up to the United States that it doesn't give a damn about it's own citizens. Harper should resign because of his stupidity.

My impression is that, by far, most of those wanting repatriation to Canada from Lebanon actually live in Lebanon and want to use their Canadian citizenship just to get out of a troubled area. The must feel very lucky to be allowed dual citizenship.
If these people are just wanting to get home to Canada, then fine. We should help them. If otherwise, they made the choice to move back to Lebanon themselves knowing that it could be a dangerous choice so---
