he always say's before "This is going to hurt me more than you" .OK, so why dont he let me spank him, that way it will hurt me more than him which is the purpose of the spanking in the first place? Do you agree?

Hey! you must have done something wrong then your dad spanks you. It is really painful for me if I have to spanks my sons. If you don't learn from the lecture, your own mistake, others mistake then you have to learn from the hard way (spanking). There is a saying "you have to be cruel before you love them" and "spare the rod spoil the child". These are very true only when you have your own kids then you will understand it full. OK. Be Good. Don't do things that dad dislike, then you will spare yourself from spanking.

After a certain age it shouldn't be done anymore (at the most 10) another method of discipline should be used. But every child needs a spankin in their life. You don't get spanked you become a spoiled brat. In love is discipline and in discipline is love.

No, because it won't hurt you as much.....but for a father or mother to spank their child does hurt.....it tells them they have failed as a parent....that you are still no gettingit, the right and wrong thing........you, would jsut prefer to spank him, so you didn't have to be spanked.......and NO, it is not illegal, as a punishment....unless the parent gets carried away, and BEATS the child

I don't believe in spanking. If you can go to jail for hitting a perfect stranger why is it OK to hit someone you're supposed to love. Parents should use their brains to find other ways to discipline...I did.

it means that your father loves you. Parents despite what you may think HATE having to discipline their children. They hate having to spank you because it does hurt you, but seems that it's the only way to get through to you. Therefore it hurts your father to have to punish you, but he has to so you grow up to be a good person with good moral values.

parents say that cause it breaks their heart to spank their kids. there for it hurts te parents more then the child.
