it is not right to tell lie but the lie which is said for the betterment of other and do not hurt someone is all right

I don't see how a lie can help someone, especially if that person is doing something bad. People need to learn that there are consequences for bad behavior, otherwise he/she will never stop doing the bad behavior and will only end up getting into trouble at some point.

No, because if the "person" commited a bad deed they must experience the conceqences because you will suffer with him if you both get caught or not. Ethier by the parental force or humantal force or by your own guilty conscience.

No, because all lies get uncovered and when they do, the longer they went on, the worse the fall. Take the blame early and it's not as bad.
