what ever she feels she is done with them. my one daughter stopped playing with them when she was 9. the other played with them until she was around 12.

Well, I hated barbies, since I was little, and at the age of 10-11 I started loving them! I stopped playing with them when I was 12...or before then..
I'd say it depends on the girl, but it's not very cool to play with barbies when your 12!

I had a friend when I was a teenager who played with those till she was 14. And she was completely Normal and otherwise not strange girl!! it used to creep me out a bit, since That is too old, but hey here is an example for you, and 10 is not the cut off

I think girls should play with toys untill they are about 12 or 13. Under that age, kids should play and have a good time enjoying life.

This a funny question because I played with them until I was 14 lol. My mom thought it was abnormal and made me stop by throwing them away. But I think any age is fine. If you have fun imagining then do it. Why stop creativity!

depending on the girl, either 7, 8 or 9. that's for barbies. maybe for Bratz/My Scene dolls, a little older like 10, as you said.

I think I stopped playing with them around 14 or so.( I am 33) I still like them today. I hope that I will have a little girl so that she will play with them too.

There are adults who make good money off vintage Barbies and stuff, so for some people the answer is never.
I used to cut my sisters' barbies' hair into mohawks and such.

I don't think anyone should ever play with Barbies nowadays. There are so many other things to do!
