Yes, of course. You ahve just to check your mother card and see if it has an AGP or a PCI Express slot. After that you buy the Graphic Card which suits the type of slot that you have, you put it in the right slot then install it. Its memory will be independent from the Ram. Some people say that one has to turn off his integrated card from the BIOS to be able to activate the independent card. others would say that the integrated card will be automatically turned off as soon as you install the second one. I'm not sure about this point. But I think you can have the right answer from an expert.

If there is a slot on the motherboard for it, yes you can. Normally you just have to install it and it will work, occasionally you will need to turn off the integrated card via the motherboard bios.
