The perfect day for me is waking, refreshed (whether I have to go to work or not), having plenty of time to prepare for it so that I'm not rushed.

Getting into a hot shower, rather than a cold one.

Having clean, ironed clothes to readily put on.

Having anything in the cupboard or refrigerator to prepare for breakfast.

Having the proper change needed to get on the bus to go to work or anywhere else.

Not being crowded on public transportation for a change, and having those on the vehicle not scowl the entire way to my destination.

Getting to work and as usual greeting everyone in a good mood.

Actually completing all of the tasks of the day and departing in an upbeat mood.

Stopping by the library and they actually have the book I'm looking for and bringing it home to read.

Having the ingredients available and the knowledge to make a perfect batch of She Crab Soup, and having the lobster lump to complement it.

Oh what a wonderful day that would be for me.

In reality, just waking up is enough for me - perfection!

First, being able to wake up is a great start. Then the rest is up to me. Any day is no better or worse than what I make of it. I work on the priciple of: "This is a day which the Lord has made, let us rejoyce and be glad in it."

A day that at the end of it, you think: Wow, it was really worthy to wake up today! I've made some progress!

A great day for me would be to have the day off from work with pay, just lay in bed all day and read, or play with the pets. =)

Waking up next to my sweetheart, him not having to work and me not having to go to class, getting all the washing/cleaning done, falling asleep in his arms.

Hm, waking up on time for once. And it's sunny. My boyfriend and I don't fight. Then I go to bed and not toss and turn for three hours. Mmm

A day without pain, without anger, without dissent, without arguement and without being too broke to buy what I wanted.
