When ever I recieve an image in a bitmap type file, I will scroll past the image and see all sorts of pictures that I have looked at weeks ago, why does that happen, and how do you stop that from occuring? How do you erase those pics?

If this is in your web browser (Internet Explorer) then clear the cache files by:
Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools
Click on Internet Options
In the window that opens go to the General tab (if does not do it automatically)
Click the Clear Files button (or Delete Files on some versions of Windows)

If this is happening in something besides Internet Explorer, please repost with the programs name.

You're probably accumulating copies of your pictures someplace, in some temp directory for instance. And then, I'll bet, you're using IrfanView to view your pictures.

:)

If so, from the menubar in IrfanView, choose Options/Properties/File Handling and adjust your preferences there....

Once you find out where all your not-so-temporary image copies are being stored, you can go to that directory and clear it out. Make sure that you have the images that you want to keep stored someplace else as well though, eh?

I am not sure this should happen. It must be a software glitch. What ever program you use to view the bitmap, you should try other program, see if the same thing happens.
