Because they think they're the ****. That's what always start an argument with me and my man!!! They just don't want to seem like the weak link in the relashionship i guess!! Show some control. I hate it. But now we agrue less. We learned to listend to eachother. Adn respect my opinions too!give it 50/50.
No more "lalalalala" when i'm trying to prove my ****** point! hahaha

What sampling have you done to come to this conclusion? Have you spoken with many men, or are you speaking of your current boyfriend? Perhaps you really mean to ask, "why does my boyfriend think he knows everything?" While this can only be a rhetorical question (since no one can possibly answer this; not even you or your boyfriend), it becomes clear that the question represents not a desire for an answer, but rather, a plaintive cry of frustration. A following question, then, might be, "why must we argue?" In the arguing, each party discovers first hand a level of understanding of the other; how they think, process information, distill and summarize the other's point of view. They also learn about how fair the other is in the "play" of the argument. If one feels threatened, does the discourse turn ugly and verbally abusive or does it become more intense in content as each of you delve into the issue?

Yap! some man always think they know everything. Especially when after married. They are always right and they never listen to their wife advise and warning even good ones.
Debates between a couple is not always bad, is still a form of communications as long as it don't lead to argument and quarrel. Well, in school we learn how to debate right? Debates with a point is good.

Girl, I had the same problem with my ex! It's so annoying. I'm like "Listen, despite what you may think, you do not know everything, and I know a lot more than you think I do so stop thinking you're always right because you're NOT." Some men think women should just sit there and agree with everything they say, like they are God or something. Whatever! They need to get a life. This does not apply to all guys though. I have serveral buddies who are down to earth and actually want to hear ur opinion.

All you need to do is look at history and who runs things. Thousands of years of history, in every civilisation, on every continent, in every tribe. Even the ones that were isolated.

Because that's the Natural Order of things.

Now, 40 years ago some college professors and philosophers conspired to see what would happen if we mixed up the gender roles.

Ever tried to ask that question and replace men with women? If someone knows everything then they just do! Not just think, they know they know everything! It's called being smart and experienced. It would've been a better question if you asked why do people think they know everything because it seems like you're male-bashing.

Who says we know everything? Don't base the whole of us on an argument with your boyfriend. If he thinks men know everything and you don't and he can't see the stupidy of his argument then maybe you should consider looking elsewhere for male companionship.
Unless of course you actually engage in long and protracted arguments along this nature. In which case perhaps you should look to keep more feminine company of sorts.

Because they were created first by God? No body knows everything regardless of gender - but women can always one up a man - they will NEVER know what period cramps feel like or what carrying a baby in your stomach feels like, or what labor feels like, or what breast feeding feels like!

if they really knew everything they would know enough not to argue with their girlfriend...lol..many . men are basically insecure and threatened by an intelligent woman with her own thoughts and opinions.... if you are convinced they are right they get an ego boost... and think they have won some kind of imaginary contest....lol...
