if u want to be on the strip: venetian! totally they have food court..shows...casino!..nice hotels.. and bunches of other things..

if you want to be close to the strip but not on the strip: orleans...the have nice gift shops, and a nice hotel rooms and best of all GOOD PRICES! (for vegas!)

if you want to be totally out of the strip...i think there are holiday inns and those kind of things!

excalibur-ok...rooms are not so great..(that is what i heard from a family member..)

But look it up for yourself...it depends on how much money you have and how much you want to spend because you will be spending probably a lot of money......

best of luck!

I'm jealous...Vegas is so much FUN! Our favorite place to stay is the Bellagio or New York New York. Both are on the main drag so just about everything you need is within walking distance. New York is more family oriented with all the midway rollercoasters. The Bellagio is more service related and fancier. Aside from shows and the slots, there are many other things to do in Vegas. You can rent a car or take a helicopter to the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. Dune buggies in the desert can be quite thrilling and a unique experience. But the most amazing thing I've ever done...and will never do again...is ride the roller coaster at the top of the needle. It is the scariest thing I've ever done...but the view was breathtaking.

hmm, it all completly depends on your budget, i stayed at the harrah's casino when i last went, which is a nice hotel but isnt the best by any means, there is the luxor casino(shaped like a big pyramid), paris paris ( which has the eiffel tower as part of the building 2/3 of the height of the real thing), the venitian (where you have boats going up and down inside the mall area of the casino and i believe in upper floors as well so it is excatly like venice.

there are soo many possibilities there so to name a hotel or apartment for you to stay at really does depend on your budget. although the luxor was the priciest i believe.

a better question would be to ask what is there worthwhile to visit while you are there, like the stratosphere (a tall building with a rollercoast ride on the top) or freemont street (a cool laser show that happens every hr or two, i cant remember which) I would reccommend doing a search for tourist attractions in las vegas for a proper list of things to go look at, i stayed there for two weeks (as part of a 3 month tour to several countries) and there was far to much to look and do there in the time allowed. talking statues, the dancing waters all sorts

you will have a ball

Definitely stay on the strip (the new part, not the old part). For a budget hotel that is actually quite nice, I'd go for the classic Flamingo. Just get ready for a LOT of pink. If you want the whole trendy hotel experience, there's the new Wynn hotel, Caeser's Venetian, Bellagio... but get ready to pay a pretty penny if you're going during peak season. Otherwise, if you're going to see a show, they sometimes have discounts if you stay in the hotel where the show is held, so you might want to check into that. I had a friend get a fantastic deal at Caesar's that way.

I certainly have stayed on the Riviera and it became into large. it is in the direction of the top of the strip, even nonetheless it became into the main inexpensive shall we detect on the time (different than Circus Circus). We basically paid $5 for an all day bus bypass to get down further on the strip. Circus Circus is far less costly, yet there are way too many infants there. i might propose paying a sprint better to stay some place else. I certainly have additionally stayed at Imperial Palace. It became into large. it is in an exceedingly solid region. you would be precise down in the midst of the strip.

I went to vegas for the 1st time last week. My friend and I stayed at Bally's...it was pretty decent, nothing spectacular. But at least we were at the "big" intersection...meaning, it's located at one of the most happenin' areas in vegas. It's in an area that has the most concentrated cluster of hotels/casinos, so walking everywhere isn't too brutal. I suggest staying at a hotel that's "on the strip" or better yet, on "center strip." Have fun!

Any where on the strip is fine. Really all you'd be buying is a bed to sleep in (which, you prob wont get much sleep anyway) and a shower. I like to stay at the Flamingo because it has a great location and it's fairly cheap. That's just me.
