Call your local Public Health department or Planned Parenthood and make an appointment for an exam. If there's a smell in your vagina, it's usually from an infection. It's possible that you need to be put on medication to treat it...many are treated easily with one dose. It's also possible that you need to use medicated douches, which the doctor will explain to you. Most of it, it's probable that you're having sex with someone who's putting bacteria into your vagina. The worst thing in the world is when a guy goes back and forth between the anus and the vagina. That's followed closely by the bad, bad, bad of a guy who spits on his penis before pentrating you. Think about all those germs he's shoving into a dark, tight, moist place that doesn't get much ventilation and only gets cleansed naturally once a month.
You need to see a doctor who will help you understand what's happening and how to care for yourself to prevent it from happening again.

Is it for the lack of hygiene? Are you trying to be funny or really want to know? You possibly could have an infection such as Yeast or something along that type. Have tried douches different types etc.... Speak with your mother or see a doctor. Look at what I have typed and single out what might your best option. Good luck and keep your legs crossed. Also, how old are you? I think you meant vagina not Virginia right ?

Virginia or Vagina? If you mean vagina, a woman should not have a smelly vagina unless there is a bacterial infection, or a STD. (sexually transmitted disease) Also a yeast infection may cause an odor, but not always. And of course you need to bathe or shower every day. At any rate, an unpleasant odor is not normal so a trip to the doctor is needed.

If you mean vagina then it shouldn't smell. It will have it's normal odour but as long as you wash it and keep it clean there shouldn't be a problem. If, on the other hand, you have an unusual discharge or secretion then it's time to visit the doctor in case you have picked up a disease or illness. If you are sexually active, and no doubt you will be if you're as beautiful as you keep boasting about, then I should also check the partners out in case they're carrying something or, worse still, become infected from you.

First you need to get verification to see if you may have a yeast infection or vaginal bacteria infection. If you have a yeast infection, something as simple as PLAIN yogurt inserted will clear it up right away (STRAIGHT from the doctor's mouth himself.) But if you have a bacterial infection, you are going to need antibiotics to clear that up. Something so simple as having an unbalanced pH balance can make this occur. And if you douche, stop, because the vagina is a self cleaning body part. Too much help will make it become unbalanced in the pH which then leads to infections such as bacterial and yeast. Make sure whenever you get out of the shower, dry it completely. Whenever you're working out or sweaty from an activity, change your clothes as soon as possible, and also, avoid wearing underwear from time to time. (Bedtime, etc)

If you feel there may be a serious problem you should see your OBGYN immediately, however if this is not a normal accurance, here are a couple of tips I heard to stop odor.
I heard that the foods that a person consumes can cause them to have a bad odor. I heard that eating fresh fruits can help you smell fresher down there. Also wearing cotton panties. And of of course always wash your butt/privates at least once a day.

The state where you live is smelly? That's unfortunate. I don't think there's anything you can do about it, except move to another state. Sorry.
