If it's only happening when you send this to a specific person then chances are that the mail box in question is at the other persons service provider. They probably have a large e-mail sitting there that they haven't downloaded yet. You may have to call them and let them know. If they know and say that they can't download it because of the size of it, then they'll have to call their provider and either have the mail deleted or get the address and password so they can go directly to the server and read and then delete the mail themselves.
Of course if you're the one sending a large e-mail with pictures and stuff, then you might be the one that's overloading their e-mail box.

Sometimes when you have a spam guard on it will fill your memory up. You may need to empty all that you have such as spam guards, saved files and such. According to what mail account you use it will differ on how you do this. so Got strait to the email provider and find out how to delete all old unused mail. They will tell you how to do it.

is the mail box that you are send to that is full or the one that you are sending from?
Some mail providers(like Yahoo) let you save your sent emails as well and if you hav reached your size limit, it may not let you send the email, or will send it but, but save a copy of it to sent folder.

It's not your box - it's the box of the person to whom you're sending the email that's full. My guess...

whatever server your using, check the deleted mail box (under deleted mail title) and delete all those, it's probably those adding up.
also check your sent folder, delete those becasue it counts those too

I dout it's refering to your inbox is full. The reason it is coming back, is because the receiver's inbox is full. So if you have another method of contacting him, tell him to clean his inbox.
