because it reacts with oxygen in the air making in harden, as there is no oxygen in the tube/bottle then it cannot harden and therefore doesnt stick.

okay, so you watch Brainiac night as well!

Unlike Brainiac, I will be boring now!

In order to form a permanent bond, structural adhesives harden via processes such as evaporation of solvent or water (white glue), reaction with radiation (dental adhesives), chemical reaction (two part epoxy), or cooling (hot melt), as described above. In contrast, pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs) form a bond simply by the application of light pressure to marry the adhesive with the adherend. Pressure sensitive adhesives are designed with a balance between flow and resistance to flow. The bond forms because the adhesive is soft enough to flow, or wet, the adherend. The bond has strength because the adhesive is hard enough to resist flow when stress is applied to the bond. Once the adhesive and the adherend are in close proximity, there are also molecular interactions such as val der Waals forces involved in the bond. These contribute significantly to the ultimate bond strength

glue needs to react with the oxygen in the air
so inside the tube=no oxygen there fore doesnt become sticky

dunno how there fix the broken bits back onto orbittting space ships tho

it will stick to the bottle, but inside the bottle is a lack of the catalysis "air" to case the glue to cure.

glue needs a lot of air to dry up, in the container, it doesnt have enough air to do so

It is activated by the oxygen in the air, which is why after you have used it a few times the nozzle will get blocked.

because, as has been said many times, glue needs exposure to air or a catalyst to harden.

glue needs air to stick.the bottle is airtight.

it only dries once it is in contact with the air, hence if you leave the lid of it ruins the whole tube
