I lived off campus and it was great not getting the Freshman 15. If you go to a school where you don't know a lot of people, I suggest that you live in a dorm like 90% of the people do anyway. Get the cheapest meal plan you can get b/c a lot of people end up with extra swipes.
So yeah, best thing to do is to make a lot of friends, go to parties, go to sports games, and go on ratemyprofessors.com and find all the easy teachers!!!
