It's Latin, and I'm pretty sure it means something along the lines of "That which nourishes me, destroys me". I would imagine she is referring to Hollywood, that whole mentality of the "industry", etc. (the tattoo is a visual reminder/reality check to remember the superficiality of the whole entertainment world), but I'm not certain.
