You are right...fans who boo A-Rod or anyone on the Yankees are major jerks!! Well, I'm a HUGE Yankees fan but, I do not boo A-Rod, I do not even want to boo him because just think of some of the great things he's done for the Yankees since he's been in the Bronx! I definently do NOT think A-Rod deserves to be booed!!!!!! And do NOT listen to anyone who is telling you to boo him because that is totally WRONG!!!!!! The Yankee fans job is to cheer on every player on the Yankees and if they strikeout, pop out, or groundout, then it's NOT the end of the world!!!

I agree. All of the baseball commentators seem to think he's having problems handling the pressure. What pressure? Why, the pressure from everyone booing him constantly, or course. They say his stats on the road are much better than at home. All of the greats had bad streaks, it happens, people need to get a grip and cut him some slack. How many games did Jeter go without a home run? I didn't see anyone booing him. A-Rod's playing a new position for only 2 years, it isn't a surprise that he makes errors, what's surprising is how well he did last year. Maybe people think because he makes so much he is infallible. Who knows?

Hey Fadio, don't know if you read what I've been writing about A-Rod, but I'm sick of it too:

Okay... finally I get to speak my mind about this subject... first of all: YES... I hope he will... he deserve it big time!! Second: if the Yankees get rid of him after the season... it will be a huge mistake, you can't fault someone for having ONE bad year. Third: I'm getting sick of some Yankee Fans booing him... GET OFF HIS BACK... tell you what... you make that much money, you go out there EVERY DAY and try and do what he does UNDER ALL THAT PRESSURE playing in New York ( I only say New York because some Yankee Fans aspect too much, I'm not one of them ) and try and do it... I BET YOU CAN'T!!

I've been a A-Rod Fan even before he came to New York, I followed him with Seattle and Texas... plus, I've been an A-Rod supporter with him in New York... Please all Yankee Fans that are booing him... STOP!! It's not like he's not trying... it's looks to me like he's busting his butt off... and trying to do too much to make some of you happy... for the last time it's CALL A SLUMP, every player has them... GET OFF A-ROD's BACK!!

LET'S GO A-ROD... I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!! STOP LISTENING TO ALL THE BOOS, THEY ARE NOT YOUR REAL FANS ANYWAY!!!!!

im a Yankee fan. It was wrong for the other Yankee fans to boo A-Rod because the reason he was making mistakes on Monday is because he hurt his toe by hitting a foul ball onto it. This is also why Joe Torre took him out.

I never really understood the booing myself, but I was just watching SportsCenter last night and I saw that A-Rod is batting .195 in his last 9 playoff games. That doesn't exactly make you friends in NY. If you can't hit the ball in October then noboby cares that you are the AL MVP and one of the best players in the game today.

It's really a shame that they can't give him a chance. I'd like to see how he could perform with the fans behind him.

It's the money that he makes that makes the people boo him when things are going bad. The fact that he makes $25.2 million makes fans expect more from him. Yes it is partly his fault for accepting that contract, but most of us would probably do the same in his shoes. Fans do pay money to go to these games and can boo who and when they want, but let me say that any of the other teams in baseball would be glad to have him on their team because he is that good of a player.

He has been especially unreliable in the clutch this season. He comes up with runners on, when they need runs, and he usually makes an out. And he's getting $25.2 million a year. That's why they boo.

Hey, in Philadelphia fans are worse. Once Mike Schmidt hit 4 home runs in a game. The fifth time he came up, he struck out. He was booed. As if he OWED them a fifth home run!

maximum Yankee followers are appearing all arrogant of this warm streak. Um, you're nonetheless in 2nd place interior the A.L. East and are tied for the lead interior the Wild Card, and don't have the final checklist interior the league. bear in mind, they have communities like the Blue Jays in warm streaks besides, purely sixty one/2 video games in the back of them and surging. each time something occurs, Yankee followers think of they are headed to the international sequence. sign Roger Clemens for $5 million funds in step with pitch - an exaggeration -, they'll win the international sequence. They win 7 out of the final 10 video games, international sequence. they are nonetheless struggling with for a playoff spot too, besides as everyone however the devil Rays and the Rangers.

3 errors and a o'fer for the night. When he was playing for Seattle or Texas he would always come through with a big hit. He is trying to hard he needs to relax in the box and on the field. The reason he got booed he making a butt load of money and the fans have right to boo if they want. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

My question is: Who doesn't have an off-night? A-Rod messed up, but let's look at all the good he has not only done the Yankees but the revenue and good he has done for MLB. Give him some respect.
