I have to disagree with macbros. The noted author, speaker and space journalist Andrew Chaikin may have reported about others who were saying Apollo was fake, but he himself never held or promoted such an opinion.

Although the hoax idea is actually older than the landings, I do remember Walter Cronkite reporting during the Apollo 8 mission that the Flat Earth Society was saying it was all a hoax. However I didn't hear many people mention the idea until the FOX TV program. Ah, the power of TV!

I DON'T KNOW, BUT WHO EVER IT WAS THEY WERE RIGHT. THINK ABOUT IT THE MOON 140K MILES AWAY, AND WE CAN'T EVEN GO 140 MILES WITH PROBLEMS... IT WAS THE BIGGEST HOAX EVER.
