I don't hate Canadians, in fact I like the way they talk(cuz it's funny), but just as a hypothetical question... if I DID hate them, would that make me a racist? Canadians aren't a race right? So can someone explain?

Correct, Canadians aren't a race.
It would be like someone hating Americans. Americans come in all shapes, sizes, colors, ethnicities, etc., but are labeled as a group due to their citizenship.

Nope, they are not a race. But I dislike certain cultures because they sometimes they annoy me with their way of life. For example, pulling up to the folks who listen to rap (it can be any race in my city) and they have it turned up really loud to where the bass gives you a head ache and the words are foul and my children hear everyone of them....that makes me VERY mad! So, sometimes, its the culture that a person is against, not the race or even the country they live in--though that is where we probably see many cultural differences--in different countries. I love Canadians too! I have a very good friend I met on line who lives there and I enjoy our conversations and our friendship very much.

We aren't a race (yet).
I thank you for thinking we talk funny. I'd heard this before but it wasn't until I worked in the States for a few years and then returned that I noticed we have an accent.
As for people hating us...some do but they are in the minority. A Canadian-hater is not necessarily a racist but is anti-Canuck.

No canadians are not a race, in fact canadians are not even real. Truth is they are robots created by the british to occupy a piece of land no British want to live in (but still want to own). That is why they act so strage and talk funny.

nicely, conversing as a dyed-in-the-wool Canadian, I could admit that we've our faults, basically like numerous different team of folk in the worldwide. i think of the version is that, for the main section, we basically are not as vocal as some ethic communities. for beneficial, we've our evaluations, and a few of them are not very flattering of alternative individuals; yet we do basically no longer spew forth except relatively pushed. via and massive, human beings are seen as plenty greater aggressive, opinionated and conceited, and that i think of human beings have a tendency to maintain a distance from those varieties. all of us understand our well worth, yet don't sense compelled to shout it out, nor to alter into protecting while others teach their lack of understanding. we'd rather purchase you a lager and kick back. the yank-Canadian courting can and could be a win-win concern . . . we've plenty in uncomplicated, and the few adjustments we've could be seen complementary.

Nope. You would be a bigot. You would be prejudiced. You could be called xenophobic. You could be called a nationalist if it's just that you hate everyone non-American. But not a racist.

no, you just hate a special country with so many nationalities in it!
If you hate Arabs, blacks, etc it's called racism. Racism is hating a race not a country!

Canadian is not a race.
Prejudiced or biased would be better choice of words.

I don't think so. Racist is because they are different. You are probably prejudice and a steriotyper(no idea how to spell that).
