Dunkin Donuts represents mass production which is not a good thing in the food industry. We consumers want to feel as if all food was homemade fresh for us.

Krispy Kreme still has the hometown feel, even thought you can now get them in your neighborhood gas station?!

Did I mention that I am leaving in a few minutes to go get a hot glazed donut from the Akron Krispy Kreme shop? MMMMMMMM

Where I live there are no Dunkin Donuts and the much anticiapated Krispy Kreme went out of business after less than a year.

So we now have neither and I don't feel the lack of them at all. I can get much better donuts and bakery for cheaper at the local bakery stores or grocery store.
