No. That one is designed for a laptop. Requires a card slot that is not standard on desktop PCs. You would have no place to plug it in.

For a desktop, you can either get a wireless card that sets inside your PC, inserted into one of the PCI slots with an antenna on the back. Or you can get one the plugs into a USB port. The USB has the advance that being "outside" the case, you can move it around if needed for best connection.

Also, the card you listed is an 802.11b card. They also make newer 802.11g cards. B cards only run at 11mps, while the G card run 5 times faster at 54mps. Huge difference when donwloading a file. (Minutes versus hours). Think "B" is bad and "G" is good when ordering a card.

Link is for a pcmia card which is for a laptop. You need a PCI card if you are going to install it in your desktop. Or you can get a USB adapter, which can give you some flexibility over antenna placement.

You need to get a card that is compatible with your router or it won't do you any good (802.11a, b, or g). The brand doesn't matter as they all run the same standards. And the one you are looking at in the link is for a laptop. You need PCI.
