That show scared the crap out of me when I was a tot.
I had an uncle who was a drug addict, and I was convinced the writers as well as the actors were all trippin...and that giant puffy thing would hump the female hosts leg, obviously!
Emma Jo, that was her name, she dressed like a hooker/GO-GO dancer, and Doug looked like a common douche bag.ugh. thanks for the scary memory!

I have that same problem whenever i talk about that show....nobody seems to know what i am talking about! So it is very refreshing to know i am not the only one who not only remembers it but also LOOOVED it! I am tempted to buy the DVD as well. By the way one of my daughters initials are H.R. so i am always calling her H.R. Puff~n~Stuff! LOL Thanks for bringing back a great memory!

Yeah - I remember. These drugged out hippie freaks imposed their hash dreams upon unsuspecting middleclass kids like me every Saturday morning. Dancing dinosaurs and the giggle patch - yeah, I remember it all.

Witchypoo is on my all time nightmare list, many a goodnights sleep was ruined by her. Also they made an HR PuffnStuff Movie one of my earliest memorys of doing the family movie thing.

I babysat these two young girls (3 & 4 years) a couple of years ago, and it was their number one favorite show. Another babysitter of theirs and I would never let them watch it with us - it freaks us out! (Though I thought the opening credits were hilarious!) It's availiable on DVD now, the whole series.
