Hi. I'm a coin dealer, and let me assure you, it's just worth one cent. The only exception to this would be if it has some kind of Mint-produced error. Otherwise it's worth a penny.

Technically your penny is worth more than 1 cent. This is because it cost the U.S. mint more than 1 cent to produce it today! If you would sell it, you'd still would only get 1cent for it.
