Basically Its becuase it might have been done by an Un- reputable tattooist- it has happened to me before and they get old and kind of turn blue.
Basically its all about how the needle is held while they are drawing on you- you shouldn't beable to feel the needle if its held at 90 degrees from the skin
If however its dragged across the skin at a 30 degree angle it hurts and burns and I believe this is why its happened.
I know a mate how is a fantastic tattooist Jason Goodwin- based in scarborough though!

That shouldn't happen. Don't let the tatooist kid you into thinking it's not his fault.
He could have used the wrong size or bad quality needles. Either that or the ink may not have been suitable.
A reputable tattooist should have seen all types of problems. He shouold really do a 2nd job or cover up free of charge

This happens when the needle goes too deep into the skin. Unfortunately there's not much you can do except for getting some kind of cover up. ):

I know many people with tattoos, myself included, and I have never seen or heard of that happening. My advice would be to go to a different tattoo artist to see if he/she can fix it or give you a legit reason as to why this has happened.

Doesnt sound right to me, i have a few tattoos and this hasnt happened to me. I bet you he has used inferiour ink or he has diluted it. I would go to another tattooist and ask their opinion, dont say where you had it done just ask what would cause this.

You did a dumb thing. First the fact taht you got a tattoo is completely idiotic..I mean..if you think you look sexier or something, it makes you look like a lowlife. Or, when he dumps you, you have five extra letters that he left behind.
Then you didn't do your research and went to some lowlife tatoo guy to screw with your body.
