Well, I definitely wouldn't bother mailing my mortgage payment.

I would leave my desk right now. Pull my daughter out of camp, take her along with my animals/pets and cherished family photos to the cottage. We'd spend the day surrounded by nature just being together. I'd make us a nice big dinner, light a fire in the fireplace and play board games (her favourite cottage activity other than swimming) until we were too tired to keep our eyes open.

I have no other relatives that are less than a 3 day drive away so a phone call (if you could get through) would have to suffice in order to say good-bye

If by chance...there was a miscalculation in the prediction....I'd get my butt back to the city pretty darn quick the following morning....I need my job! ;0)

I would dance. Go on a bouncy castle. Eat lots of good things. Hug those I love.

I guess the most powerful emotions I want to meet seem to be to feed my inner child.

In essence, I would hold a wake for the Earth, because it would be her death as much as anyone else's. I would be outside the entire time, appreciating the Earth. She's given so much.

I would want to share this news with as many people as possible in hopes that they would repent of their sins and make peace with God before it's too late. Because, "It is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27).

Hey. Why aren't we doing this now?

That is the deepest question, but I would ride Shamoo, because I've wanted to since I was a little girl. And I would get your number! :)
