I certainly don't know if we are approaching the Biblical "Armageddon" or not, but the human species are racing toward some bad times. We (humans) are not respecting and caring for our planet and our species. Global warming has finally been confirmed by scientist (Duh...a little late). We are overdue for a pandemic virus and low and behold here comes bird flu. A whole new crop of tyrannical despots are attempting to drag the human race back into the dark ages (see Kim Jung IL - North Korea, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - Iran, Osama Ben Ladin - Al Queda, etc. etc. etc. The earth is overdue for a massive meteor strike and a super massive volcanic eruption, don't forget the Canary Island volcano that is poised to erupt and send a 100 cubic miles of earth sliding down a steep slope and into the Atlantic ocean causing a Tsunami of epic proportions that would reach the Eastern coast of the USA in about 8 hours and destroy every coastal city and town from Maine to Miami. I suppose that is enough for now...

We are "always" approaching Armageddon.
Take it from someone that's old... In my lifetime there has been about a dozen times I was sure Armageddon was just around the corner and another two dozen that I thought, maybe.
I think the twinkling of the eye and no one will really know is the answer.
I grew up in a church that said if you are a Christian you don't need to worry about those things as they take care of themselves.
I later went to a church that said be very aware so you will know.
I think the answer is in the middle.
One thing I am 100% certain about... no one knows down here on earth.

It would seem that the four horsemen of the apocalypse are already loose. However, during times of great strife throughout history, many have always asked that very same question.
