I am trying to start a cleaning business, I actually have one client right now, I go out to her place on the weekends, Sat & Sun only
I work anywhere from 5-8 hours each day, I am hoping to find out what is the average pay rate by the hours and by the day(s)
She wants me to give her a price by this Satruday and I want to be fair to her but not cheat myself as well.
If there are any sites where I can go to look this up that will be a help to me also,

It's usually $7-8.00 an hour for a housekeeper. If you hire a service, which I have done, it's $50.00 for 3-4 hours. I would charge her around $80.00 - $130.00 for 10-16 hours of work.

Our house keeper gets paid 10 euro an hour... she does vacuuming, washing the floors, cleaning the bathrooms and some ironing on occasion... not neccessarily all on the same day.

It depends what sort cleaning you're doing though.. if it's heavy duty and lots of it... charge a bit more.

Try www.google.com and search for house keeping rates or something like that... hopefully you can get an idea of what to charge =o)

Associations may be a good avenue to explore as well. These organizations will address many of the thoughts, questions and concerns you'll inevitably have as well as many you haven't anticipated yet. See the source box for some relevant links.

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

your best bet is to see if you can get free quotes in your own home by local cleaning companies.
also take into consideration that these companies would have more expences than you do
