she's dumb, her chin looks dorky, she has fake boobs, she can't sing, can't act, she was banging Nick Lachey (who was a hottie and every hetero woman wanted him), and we are sick of seeing her plastic-Barbie face!

Because they may be jealous of her and/or hate the image that Jessica Simpson is believed to represent.
The pretty, skinny, blonde, All-American Princess, that appears to be idolized and placed upon a pedestal, her wealth that some believe she earned based on her looks more than her talent..
She is the focus of so much media attention and some women are angry because they are not capable of the same fame and fortune, but with all of that comes a big price. So to hate her or anybody else is a waste of time.

Women work too hard to be taken seriously for her to act so stupid that we almost think it is staged.
I watched the show newlyweds and realized she was actually that dumb. The valentines day special when she creates that dinner for Nick and talks about how she loves the smell of the candle she picked out. CaCee asked what was the name of the fragrance and she says "unscented". Her looks, acting, and singing doesn't get me, because I do not buy her movies, albums or pay attention to her body (do you know how may stomach infections she had on the show (cause--sticking your finger down your throat).

some people take things to the extreme. they get so involved in celebrities lives and let things affect them personally. now i don't think jessica simpson is talented in any area besides looking pretty but i wouldn't say that i hate her. i can't hate someone i don't know.
