I know a guy who that I to work with who was for the most part a really great guy but I noticed he handled rejection poorly. He'd pout, throw things, scream the whole nine and i never could understand why he just couldn't accept that it was a part of life and it happens to all of us. How well do you take rejection?

It all hinges on the way you are raised. If you have parents with poor parenting skills then they almost doom their children into negative attributes.

Seriously thats pretty immature. I don't handle it to well either, but i dont throw a fit about it. I mean, i guess i just take it to personally, like there is something wrong with me, when i might just be im not there type or something. So to be honest i havent gotten rejected very many times, because i just dont bother. Basically if i dont get asked on a date by a girl, i will remain single until someone does, thats just the way it is. Luckily i have been fortunate enough to be in a few long term relationships so i havent had to. Right now im single and have been for almost two years, and i havent been on a date.. not a single one. Guess that should explain how i handle rejection... it makes my social life very limiting.

It sucks but, I look at it this way. There are women that try to holler at me and I'm like naw so of course all women aren't going to be feeling me. It just makes it that much better when someone says yes because we don't always get what we want. My advice to your boy, Drop it and Move on, pity parties get you now where in Life.

I don't handle it well. No body likes to be turned down. If I really wanted something I get depressed and mope around, lose sleep and cry.

well u see ... i take rejection like i dont care at all .. i mean like i dont wanna seem like a pathetic loser who ''needs'' the person .. i mean like my bf broke up with me one time .. && he tended to cuss me out cause i took it so well... just accepting rejection and acting like u dont care .. will make them feel like a dumba** and wanting to come to u .. ya know???
