I love Garfield- I read some every night! Anyone else???

I love Garfield. I have been reading Garfield for almost 20 years. I have all or most of the first 20 books. I think Garfield was best in the late 70's early 80's. I think Jim Davis (who's wife is actually allergic to cats) is a genius. I loved the cartoon series which partnered Garfield's show with US Acres. (I believe that was the name of the comic strip the farm scenes were based on) I think the movies while mildly entertaining were rip-offs of true Garfield humor. I think Garfield's personality from the funnies is well displayed in his description of his family.

I love Garfield in the movie 'coz he's so chubby (fat to be exact) and adorable!!! ^__^ But outside the movie, nah.. i dun like Garfield.

i love garfield cauz it reminds me of my old friend...he had a big garfield bunny gifted to him by his gal...and one fine day he realized tat his garfield was being exposed to household dust..so ironically he used a tee to cover up his fat belly ...it gave d cat some sense of sporty look.....Now the irony of the story lies in the fact to whom the tee belonged..? any guesses):

the cat.. i do.. i use to read that comic all the time until the local newspaper toke the comic out. that made me pissed off
