Yes it would be mixed, but if the caucasin gene is dominant, the baby could possibly appear white. There was a mixed race family on the news, both parents were half white, half black, both were dark skinned. They gave birth to twins, one black, one white. Not only this but the white baby had blonde hair and blue eyes! Nature will take it's course and sometimes you will have wonderful exeptions to the normal outcome.

The baby would be part Caucasin and African American, the baby will take part of the father since they go by dad not mom anyway.
I am part Vietnamese (my mom) and African American (my dad).

The baby would be a mix of both races. However, at birth the baby might seem more white and then slowly becomes darker as time goes on. There is no indicator of how light or dark they will become.

Yeah. I was watching Maury a while back and there was this couple on. The male was african american and the woman was white and the baby was very light complected. The man thought she had cheated on him and was certain that the baby wasn't his. But it was!

Yes it just really depends on which persons genes are stronger. I have a friend that has two children both kids are mixed (black and white)but the baby is white with blue eyes and yes the father is black and he is the father they even had to get a D.N.A test cause the dad couldn't believe it . So the answer to your question is yes.

It's possible, but not likely. Darker skin is dominant trait. The chances of the baby being very light or very dark are rare.
