i have a notification on my homepage that i have 5 mail,but there is no mail in my inbox,how do i get rid of the notification
its a nuisance as i can never tell if i have mail

It's happened to me too, and guess what i found. Someone on my address book had sent me an e-mail. Their e-mail account's date was screwed up, so their e-mail had a date of 3/7/89, and therefore was in the last page of my inbox. Just look through your inbox, especially older dates and you should find those unread e-mails. Good luck!

I have the same, it's telling me I have 3 emails but everytime I check there is nothing there, I think something is up with Yahell..Must be the heat...It doesnt matter if you keep opening different browsers either it still happens, Best thing to do is ignore it for now and check emails every hour or so if your waiting for an important email.

I don't actually know but the same keeps happening to me and I thought that it was my computer. I am quite glad to hear I am not the only one.

Go to your mailbox from your homepage.Dont pull it up from an icon that will clear the message.
