If money is not an object, and you want good quality, try the department store Peter Jones in Sloan Square, opposite the tube station (District and Circle lines). They have a lovely selection, but you will pay a high price for it. however, they are "never knowingly undersold" meaning that you won't be likely to find that quality of merchandise at a cheaper price elsewhere. Also John Lewis is Oxford Street has the same selection (Oxford Street tube, Central Line). Fabric Galore in south london (Somewhere like Tooting) is great for cheap as chips selections, but you don't always find what you are looking for and there is no tube nearby.

As a pragmatic be counted i might advise a station on the Circle line as i've got discovered it extremely is the path that makes it easiest to get to everywhere else. in case you upload different varieties of transportation into the blend (bus, and so on.) i might advise Victoria Station. I stayed close to there the final time I visited London and can desire to stroll to Buckingham Palace, bus, tube, trains and extra definitely.
