Because God made everyone different, that's why different people reach puberty at different times. Now if you don't menstruate before you are 16 years old, you may want to get check to make sure everything is ok. But if you are healthy and all, I can't see why you'd have to worry.

I didnt start until I was around 15 years old and all of my friends had already started. It is probably nothing wrong, just wait a few more months and if nothing happens I would go and get yourself checked out.

People reach puberty at different ages due to your genes. If you are worried you can have your doctor do some hormone level testing.

becuase theres a section in ur brain that tells ur boby when 2 start but if u havent got ur period by age 16 u should go and c a docter

You get your period between the ages of 9 and 18. Everyone is different. There body's tell them when they are ready to get there period.
