Furniture and Carpet-scrape off excess wax if possible - place a clean flat cotton cloth over the spill area. Slowly move a warm iron back and forth on top of the cloth until wax is absorbed into the cloth. Repeat this using different areas of the cloth until all wax is removed from the furniture or carpet. If there is still some wax on the furniture or carpet lightly brush over spilled area with fingers or a brush and vacuum. Then try using a liquid cleaner to remove any discoloration left by the wax. Make sure to read the directions of the cleaner before using.

Fabric: By far the best way to remove wax is to melt it out from the fabric. You can use either brown paper or kitchen towel.
Place the brown paper or kitchen towel on either side of the wax stain. Run a warm iron over the paper that is covering the stain. The wax will melt into the paper. Keep moving the paper so that the wax has plenty of chance to be absorbed into it.
Laundering as usual should remove any residue.
I hope that this helps!

You could try putting a cloth on top of it and use an iron to melt the wax. The wax should come out on the cloth after a few seconds.

I agree with Tab. I accidentally left a huge (3 wick) candle burning on a shelf, and it melted over half of it into my carpet. I had a spot of red wax about a foot wide in light colored carpet. I used the iron and paper bag method, and now you cant even tell where it was.

Get an old t-shirt and tear it into large pieces. Place it over the wax and iron over the t-shirt material on a low setting. It should slowly pull the wax into the t-shirt material. You may have to change cloths several times and you may have to increase the setting on your iron, but try on a low temp. first.

Use a Brown paper bag and an iron
Lay the brown bag on the wax....iron on top of the bag.
The heat melts the wax, the bag absorbs it.
It works.
