This is called the Core support, because it supports the radiator.

If this is the only part that is damaged, it could be bent back into shape. However here is the correct way to repair it,

Dis-assemble the front end, including removal of the fenders hood, radiator a/c condensor (if applicable) and bumper assembly. Then you need to evaluate the damage. If it is just the core support you can either get a new one from the dealer or from a junkyard. If it is welded in from the factory you can have a competent welder attach the new one, look for a welder on Craigslist. If it bolts in from the factory, you can bolt in the new piece and attach all the other parts back to it, and you will be good to go. You can also find cheap parts on Ebay or local junkyards. Email me back if you have questions about it, or want tips on how to paint a replacement hood to match the rest of the car colvindesign@hotmail.com

yes you can pull the radiator rail ("cross bar) up but i would suggest you go to a junk yard where you may be able to pull it your self and get both the hood and rail for less than $60 bucks. It may be another color but your hood will be more secure.

Your frame may well be bent. If it is you need major repairs before your hood will latch.
