Looks:
When coming back from summer, you want to look fresh and sun-kissed, like you've spent all summer at the beach, whether you have or not! Try a good bronzer. For lips and eyes, don't go with anything too heavy. A great mascara and an eyelash curler together will open up your eyes tremendously, making you look like summer has left you wide-eyed and awaka from so much resting! Also, try a coral lip gloss to give your lips the shine they need to complete the summery look. Just looking fresh will help you feel more confident on the first day back!

Teachers:
Never be afraid to ask questions, no matter how dumb it'll make you feel to ask them. You'll never know until you ask! Don't let not-knowing intimidate you.

School:
Smile! You always want to look friendly, approchable, fun, and like you know what you're doing! Just something as simple as smiling will help you get through any situation.

Remember, any problems you might face in school, no matter how big, aren't the end of the world. You'll get through it all right and figure some things out from experience.
Hope I've helped you out !!

The first day of school is the only time to make a great first impression. NEVER wear anything that could even be considered slutty by anyone!! Since fall isn't completely in session by then, wear somthing a little lighter than boots and a sweater. A denim skirt is nice and killer with flats. You could wear a light sweater on top or a funky top, balancing out patterns with accessories. If your shirt is plain, load up on chunky chain necklaces (really in this season) or big beads. Crocheted beads are really cute and you'll get tons of heads turning your way. Earrings should balance out your necklace, so if you have a chunky necklace then you should have simple earrings or vice versa. If you want to go heavy on the earrings instead, try to go for something more bold than hoops. chandalier earrings (but not too big), pretty pearl danglers, sparkly strands, etc. Remember to keep color in your outfit no matter what you do because that's what makes you pop!

Teachers are a little harder. To get on their good side you need to be ready to suck up a little. Smile A LOT, never complain, always do what they tell you (well if possible), and don't pass notes or do anything stupid. Do that and they will love you! Of course it helps if you're a good student, but if you're not, you can always stick to the smiling and you'll be fine. One of the secrets is that teachers don't hate anything quite as much as a bad attitude. Good luck!

It does kinda depend on what grade you're going into, but I just graduated from high school, so yeah I've got some advice, & not just for the first day, either!

Make sure you always have plenty of paper: share with others when they ask, that way if you ever run out, other people will be happy to "lend" you some.
Mechanical pencils. There are some these days that twist instead of click. Either way, both you AND your teachers will be happier: sharpening pencils annoyed the teachers at my HS.
Smile at your teachers when you enter their rooms, at least in greeting.

Make sure your hair is brushed, your teeth are clean, & your cell phone is off!
Sit towards the front.
Introduce yourself (teacher first, then to other students...if possible :-) )

FINALLY...take a deep breath. Let it out. Again. Again. Again.
DON'T WORRY. Hundreds of thousands of us have done it before you, & we got through it, so you will too!!!

Peace!

I agree just be yourself. If you act as just yourself, teachers will like you for who you are (and your classmates). Plus, who cares what you look like, true friends will like you for what's on the inside. If you're worried about your schedule, go and see if your school allows you to walk around your schedule during the summer. While your there try you locker combo a couple of times. If you want to decorate it, get it done during the summer, trust me, you probably won't have time during the school year! Hope that helps!

Hi! I graduated two years ago and now regret everything I didnt do! Join every club, play as many sports as you can, dont be influenced by other people, and of course be yourself, because you are at your best when you are yourself! One more thing I learned was being nice to teachers and dressing nice will get you very far! Good Luck!!!

Being yourself can get you no friends sometimes. Just be nice, be friendly, answer questions and that's about it.

Catch your bus, lol.

If you don't, everything else will fall like dominoes.

If you walk, hope it doesn't rain.

If your parent drives you, make sure THEY wake up on time.

If your homeschooled...erm....you're OK I guess...
