Use two throw away containers. One to mold the outside and the other to mold the inside. Put the inside one out as soon as it is halfway dry so it doesn't get stuck and leave the outside one in place. The outside one can be cut and pulled off.

You may try using a round plastic jug which holds a gallon of liquid and fill it half way with cement then insert a smaller round jug in the center . Use a short piece of garden hose at least the height of the jugs and pierce a hole through the bottom of both jugs so it will have drainage for excess water. Then let dry for 2 days. You may also try this with a half gallon carton of milk , fill halfway with cement again then insert a pint carton repeating the same process for a square flower pot.
