The rudeness that bothers me is when people who find out I am Hispanic they tend to think I am a farm worker that has no intelligence or education.
Contrary to popular belief, I am not a farm worker, I was born, raised and educated in the USA. Yes I can speak, read and write in both English and Spanish.
I have owned and ran my own business for over 10 years, and worked in Law Enforcement.
I am not ashamed of being Hispanic, but I wish people would not stereotype me because of my nationality.

The ultimate rudeness takes place in stores, weather it is a convenience store or Neiman Marcus. Especially from the younger generation. No offense young people, but really, if you hate your job that much, quit. I'm sure the pay at the 7-11 is not that great, you can afford to quit and find something where you wont have to deal with the general public. I hate it when I go into a store and the person behind the counter has blue hair, a belly-button ring, or is talking on the phone and ignores you completely. If you have a belly button ring, fine, who cares, but cover it up at work. No one wants to see it, trust me. Female, 32, US

I think it is very rude when someone asks a question on Yahoo and they get some real nasty answers. Like if you know what work someone is trying to say why do you have to point out that they spelled it wrong. 24, Female, and U.S.

It really bothers me when people don't say "thank you" when you have given them a gift, performed a service for them or patronized their establishment.
