Domestic abuse can happen to men, although it's not as common. You should do the same thing that a woman would do: report this person to the police, make a report, go to the doctor and have them document your injuries. Get a restraining order... I'm not a lawyer so this is just my humble opinion.

I have a friend whose wife likes to throw tantrums, hit, scratch and throw things. She even put a lit cigarette on his face once, trying to put it in his eye. He would usually just grab her and hold her arms down until she stopped or when he saw her "going in that direction", he would leave for a while. A woman has no more right to hit a man than vice versa, if I was a man with a wife who did that I would beat her senseless! He finally pushed her one night when he had enough and she fell and started crying "I can't believe you did that." Grrr. What a psycho.
Men are abused by their wives more often that you might think. Next time call the cops and let them take her crazy @ss to jail.

Figures that woman would say that its not that common for a man to be abused. I've heard many radio talk shows where they say that women are getting increasingly more violant. The problem is that men do not call the police if they get smacked by they're wives. Us men feel it would make us look soft. So the first girl that answered that,,it was a very unfair statement to make.

I had a friend that told me his wife hit him, and I laughed cuz I thought he was joking...he proceded to pull up his shirt and show me a bunch of bruises and stuff. He doesn't fight back, just leaves for a while I think. This girl is a bit on the crazy side...but he seems to think it's ok. He's weird. I don't think it's ok for any spouse to hit the other...it's a complete statement of disrespect.

Do not put up with it!!! Had a friend who did it three times and warned her not to do it again. She flipped one day he hit her and knocked her out. The problem is after it happens once it gets easier. If it happens once in the while and your to embarassed to talk to the cops, tell a pastor or some third party. If it happens alot get away until it can be figured out.

You can't fight back, unless you like going to jail. I used to get punched on a regular basis when I was married, so I divorced her. I did warn her at the end though that if she hit me again I'd hit her back as if she were a guy and never got hit again.

I've always believed in choking them when they start to hit. Or just hold her down. Maybe a pillow over her face.
