Well, I've heard there is a such thing as an addiction to the thrill of new romances. A person with this addiction can't seem to stick with any person (no matter how great they are) and is always looking for the next, new, exciting fling. This person would stay in unhealthy relationships to just to keep getting a romance fix.

Keep in mind that Love is an essential human need, everybody needs to feel loved and that's okay. The difference is, a romance addict would endanger true, enduring love for the thrill of a romance.
