I hate it when I make eye contact with someone approaching me, especially at work, & they look right through me as if I'm invisible. Or worse, they turn their eyes & look anywhere else, rather than acknowledge that I've not only made eye contact with them but most likely either smiled at them or even spoken to them. I despise rude people!!!! I can't tell you how many times that happens - especially if the person is someone in "management"; it's almost as tho they think they are automatically better than us "little people" at the bottom of the corporate food chain. I'm 44 & female, I live in Virginia. (you would think, being from the South, that folks down here would be more gracious. Perhaps they're "Yankee transplants" & haven't picked up on Southern gentility as of yet) ((there could be hope))

The rudeness I really detest is when a person acts like they are the only person living on the planet. These people show rudeness in a variety of ways...in the grocery store, in their vehicle, in a line.

I also don't like it when people hide behind their computers and say things they would never say to a person's face.

Hope you're not looking for new ideas on how to be rude! :o)

I'm a 15 year old female and live in Switzerland, Europe. My teacher is the rudest, most disgraceful person I have ever encountered. She seems to have an opinion on everything: music, clothes, food etc.
Who cares if someone walks around half-naked? She does.
Who cares if someone doesn't eat organic food? She does.
And then she says that Rock is bad for your mind, that it makes kids crazy and aggresive. Pfff, what the hell is she talking about?
If someone doesn't agree with her, she flips out. Stupid freak.

"Yep, yer absolutely correct" IT does exist. The grand thing about IT is, we can ignore it, and classify it as one persons ignorance.

To be specific in answering however, my opinion is the greatest rudeness, to me personally, is being "disregarded"

I'm 62, Male, Florida, USA, though I hope this wasn't an A/S/L solicitation.

The best one can expect,,, is the worst others offer, and savor any difference in your expectations as opposed to experiences.

At its most defining core, Rudeness is ignorance. I choose my levels of ignorance, and I'm very civil. I'm selective though about those things I wish to remain ignorant of.

I think it's rude when people belch and fart in public places without excusing themselves. I don't care what people do at their dinner table, but have some respect for others. Age 17; Female.
