I'm a fan of superglue. What about epoxy? Gorilla Glue might work too...or JB Weld.

Just make sure that if you use epoxy it doesn't eat away at the plastic.

Model car glue is no good b/c it takes forever and a day to dry, you'll have to stand there and hold it. It's not so great in my experience. That's why I like super glue.

i'll suggest superglue, gorilla glue, or JB weld. JB weld is a 2 part compound that hardens like anything when it sets. it's usually used for metal repairs where welding is not an option, but it also adheres to plastics as well. i have used it in both capacities. and after it sets, one can sand it or shave off excesses.

mitre bond is my favourite, available from all diy stores as a kit one tub of glue and a can of spray activator.
coat one piece of handle with glue spray the other with activator, hold together for a few seconds and job done.
keep your fingers well away though it sticks well!
