Shiseido Moisture Mist Beauty Cake ... my mum first bought it for me when I was 17, and 13 years later it's still the best I've found!! I've tried Cover Girl, Maybeline, L'Oreal, Revlon ... none of them work as good as this, none apply as easily, or cover with as natural a look. I use a damp sponge to apply, and simply sponge a little extra onto problem areas. I can apply my foundation in under a minute, it lasts all day, looks natural, and covers all my little imperfections gloriously!

If you are willing to pay good money, why not go for a spa grade micro-derm abrasion that will exfoliate your skin an revitalize the surface, or have laser resurfacing. These treatments expedite cell renewal and your skin will look young, fresh, soft, and glowing! Remember to do your homework about these techniques before you decide. Make sure you go to a reputable, licensed practitioner!
As for foundation, go for something all natural, like a mineral foundation (such as Bare Essentials). Since it is a mineral based powder, it will fill into the pores and give you a nearly flawless finish, without clogging your pores. You may, however, still see some scarring. Be careful about using chemical based foundation, they'll do more harm than good!
Also, make sure you eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables annd drink lots of water. You'll be amazed at the effect a healthy diet has on your skin!
Personally, I have the same problem and if I had the excess money for the micro-derm abrasion or laser resurfacing, I would do it in a heart beat, however, I do use Bare Essentials foundation and eat a healthy diet which has helped me tremendously! I wish you all the best!

Bare Minerals. It will make your pores smaller. I LOVE it!
http://www.bareescentuals.com/ The starter kit costs $60. It comes with a cd that shows you how to apply to different skin types. This is all you will need to see if you like this make up.
If you are willing to pay lots of money you might also consider a foto facial or some type of laser treatment. It will reduce scarring from acne. Talk to a dermatologist or a laser clinic about it.
Mary Kay is good too. I used to wear it but after I had my kids my skin changed and I had to switch.
Do not use grocery store make up. If you are prone to break outs it will make your problem worse. You need a high end make up.

Clinique makes a great foundation called Continuous Coverage. It can be heavy but if you apply it with a sponge and a little water, it works great. I use it for other skin issues and I get compliments on how nice my skin looks. I have large pores too and use a foundation primer called Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer. I order both from Sephora.com
Use the primer first and then with a wet sponge apply the foundation. This is the best combination I have found for achieving flawless skin.
Good luck!!!

I bought Mary Kay foundation from my neighbor who sells it, It's the best I ever used. You meet with the Mary Kay lady personally to get a foundation that matches your skin just right, so you won't waste money on a product that won't look good on you after you buy it. I think it was maybe 12-15 dollars/tube, but you only need a small amount of it. You could check out the mary kay website to get matched to a consultant in your area, I'm sure she'll come right to your home. Good luck with everything!

If you do not know the rationale why you're using it, why use it? Ladies are likely to wear foundation to even out dermis tone and cover blemishes such as spots or freckles. I wear it for my part for each these motives. I've dark circles beneath my eyes so it fairly helps to duvet that up. My nostril is also kinda significant so after I put foundation on it to duvet up the massive pores, it makes it look a bit of smaller too! :D basis isn't first-rate to your skin. It may well clog pores making you more more likely to escape. That is in general how I observe it. - Use a primer you probably have one. This is by and large clear or very gentle in colour and it's a great base for makeup as it smooths the face out. (i don't constantly use it but if you're placing it all over the place your face alternatively than unique constituents, this helps to offer a nice base) - i exploit a brush to use a thick streak of makeup underneath my eyes, on my chin (the place i have breakouts) and on my nostril. (I don't want it in different places) - I then use a more fluffy brush to combo it in. I tend to dab on my chin although so i do not rub the groundwork off an excessive amount of. - normally i take advantage of a face powder on top of this to "seal" the foundation and ensure long lasting finish. It also gives me more of a matte appear which is what I prefer. :)

Bare Minerals is the best! My 20 year old daughter has some acne scars and she has tried just about every foundation, including some very expensive designer brands, but she now uses Bare Minerals and her skin looks flawless.

Go to JC Penney and a pick up a tube of DERMA BLEND. I have used it for years and It works wonders for my skin. I got this tip from my modeling days with John Casablanca. I have blemishes from my acne days and Dermablend cover all the dark spots to an even-toned complexion. I ever use it on my legs when I go out in shorts and mini's. It goes on thin and soft. your skins feels silky smooth and light at the same time. Good Luck!!!
