Time flies when I am having a good time, like on vacation or when you get older, time seems to fly! Time creeps when you are doing something you don't like, like being at work with your boss hanging out by your desk pestering you and telling you what to do next like a dictator (yes, I am annoyed because mine does this all the time).....or he hangs out all day at the office giving you more and more stuff to do.......time creeps when you are at the doctor waiting for your turn.....or on the freeway stuck in traffic and you are trying to get to a wedding!

Time flies when I'm on vacation or on the weekends, but it creeps while I'm at work.

time seems to fly when you're doing an activity you enjoy or are busy, time seems to creep when you're bored or doing something you don't enjoy (at least to me)

Albert Einstein's definition of relativity: "Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity." I can't improve on that. :-)

To answer your question this saying came to mind
(when the going gets good , the good gets going & when the tough gets going the going gets tougher).
