Can you live for weeks without a bath, new clean clothing? How about food? Do you think you could eat what is put in front of you instead of hot pockets and McDonalds?

Yes it is easy,

plus it will be lawless so I can use my size to my advantage plus all my hand to hand fighting skills. It would be cool to be able to silence the haters after the their worlds ended.

They are lazy and not prepared,

better question what happens to all the fat people when gas hits 5 or 6 dollars a gallon. That places them in or near your boat already,

We would survive nicely, I believe. While we're not fanatical survivalists, we live a long way from nearly everywhere, and have had to prepare for potential weather disasters, power outages, etc., just to get by in normal life. While we'd miss our electricity and other conveniences, we have other means to supply them. We also have our own water well, much wildlife nearby, and sources of fuel for heating and cooking.

It seems unlikely that the area we live in will be a major focus for hostilities, but we have safeguards in place for minor fallout and protection in other ways.

There would be inconveniences, sure, but we can cope. Fast food is never an issue here, anyway, as the closest one is 65 miles away. I live on a river, also, so bathing and water availability isn't a big deal, either.

If none of that is enough, then I guess it'll just be my time to die, and I'll deal with it.

I could probably fry up a hot pocket on a pan over a fire if I was patient enough. Likewise heat a pot of water over the fire to bathe or clean myself. Clean clothes are trivial, as long as there's no holes in certain places I can live with it. McD's is yuk. I'd make my way to Canada. Maybe you should be asking yourself if you have any survival skills. I was in Girl Scouts for many years and I know how to build a fire, pitch a tent, etc.

I don't eat hot pockets or McDonalds. I grow my own food. I could care less about TV and have horses to ride for transportation. I can heat water for a bath to clean myself.

I know a person who has all of the essentials to survive practically any disaster. This person has spent hundreds of thousands on this project. It is an obsession. It might take a little convincing, but I am sure he will share with me. Or maybe he won't! If that is the case he will share anyway he just won't be aware of it.

I am prepared to see the writing on the wall and get the f*ck out. It's a big continent, and I'm good at walking, if it comes to that.
