Can any of you ladies out there direct me to any stores or websites that have clothes that are pretty but are made out of nice, natural fibers (i.e. cotton, wool, etc) instead of so much polyester and other scratchy substances? I'm looking for things that are age appropriate for someone who is single and 40. I don't want to look like Britney Spears, but I also don't want to look like a frumpy soccer mom (none of those sweatshirts with embroidery on them!!!) One store I already like is J. Jill, if that gives you an idea of what I'm looking for. I also used to like Tweeds but I think they went out of business.

try www.asos.com, they have loads of stuff. the clothes are good quality and reasonably priced. some of it's high fashion, but for fashion basics it's fab! good luck!

They don't have these on the internet, but free city is extremely comfy. You can get it at Ron Herman. You can't find a free city store unless you know where it is. I know someone who's 50 and swears by them. Good Luck!
