Well, the Golden Gate has the famous 99 cent shrimp cocktail which is the best in vegas. they also have a cheap menu for breakfast and an all day menu that's reasonable. Food is good and service is alright. Good place to get a quick meal.

If you like oriental food and oxtail soup, try Lanai Express in the Fremont Hotel and Casino. It's open late and is very cheap. Lots of choices on the line and very good oxtail soup. they also have 99 cent shrimp cocktails.

These are the two places I always stop by when I'm in Vegas.

Food/restaurants will not be a problem in Vegas!

The strip has more of the high end places, and since you're at the downtown area, just stick to the hotels for their buffets. Pretty much the food is similar... shrimp, seafood, chicken, beef, etc.

I would look in the hotel's visitor's guide in your room for suggestions.

There is a bus /trolley that takes you to the strip so you can leave downtown you know.

Here's my best find: The Hard Rock Cafe has a steak/shrimp special for $7.77 in the Mr. Lucky's cafe.

Right across the street from the Golden Nugget is a little place that sells Frozen Chocolate Covered Bananas, Deep Fried Oreo Cookies, and Deep Fried Twinkies for just 99 cents each.

On the strip, go to Slots of Fun (right in front of Circus Circus) for their half pound hot dogs for 99 cents and bottles of Heinekin or Carona for $1.

Darlin, the minute you arrive in town you'll be overwhelmed with food and restaurant deals all over town. Nearly every lounge will want to feed you free or nearly so, in the hopes that you will gamble in their casino. Eating in Las Vegas is Never something you have to worry about. Flyers, coupons and word of mouth will keep you busy with all the possibilities. You'll just be amazed. Have fun!

Why dine on the Strip? in case you want romantic stay remote from the Strip. The nutrition has a tendency to be overestimated, and repair lacks customarily. I could desire to understand, I serve in a eating place in a Strip on line casino. I genuinely have 2 techniques for you Marche Bacchus it is a French eating place in wilderness shorelines. there is outdoors seating on the lake. The landscaping is captivating, the ambience is intimate, provider is stellar. each meal I genuinely have had there has been stunning. each bottle of wine we've shared has been appropriate. in case you circulate there, ask for Allison to serve you, she does a brilliant activity. Rosemary's ( Summerlin region, no longer the Rio) New American delicacies, stepped forward wine determination, white table cloths, and a remarkable atmosphere. This eating place is a locals renowned. it is well-known, romantic, and yummy! the two selections could be a night and a meal to bear in mind.

I don't know about a deal, but when I was there I went to Smith and Wollensky's steak house. Was on someone else's dime, but the food was absolutely awesome. Best steak ever. Really pricey, though.
