I read it in this paragraph. What does it mean in the context? "Since then my memory has been required to hold gigantically much more, the bulk of it so dull. Feats of adult remembering often conform to the "negative Disneyland" rule of grown-up pleasures: that is, it is fun, of a sort, suddenly to remember where you left the registration stickers for your car, but only in comparison to the trip to the Department of Motor Vehicles you would have to make if you didn't."

It sounds like the person is complaining about standing in long lines...the DMV has long lines just like DL.

You have to have "a Valid State of Florida Photo ID or Florida Drivers License" to get the real good discount tickets!! We can't buy them for anyone else like our grand-children!

They can still kick you out for questionable sayings on your shirt. Or make you turn it inside out, but then they follow you all day because you may be a hoodlum that is going to attack little kids and old people for spite.
